Annie Mae Stacey Jones

Annie Mae Stacey Jones, 70, of Holly Springs, died April 14, 2017, at Baptist DeSoto Hospital in Southaven. She was a member of Latter Rain Christian Fellowship Church, a church mother, on the Pastor Aid committee and helped feed the elderly at nursing homes. The widow of Luther Jones, she retired as an inspector at Mulay Plastics in 1989.

Visitation is April 19 from 2-7 p.m. and with the family from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home, and April 20 from 9-9:55 a.m. at the church.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. on April 20 at Awakening (old New Direction Church) with burial in New Beginning Cemetery in Myrtle. Pastor Joseph Selman will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves two sons, Charles W. Boyd, Kamal Abdulla, both of Nashville, Tenn.; seven daughters, Sherhonda Barksdale, Fran Nabors, Sheran Brown, Calandra Scales, Kimberly Jones, all of Holly Springs, Audrey McShan of Blue Mountain, Natasha Jones of Terre Haute, Ind.; two sisters, Christine Frazier of New Albany, Evelene Hilyard of Ball Hill; a brother, Aaron Stacey of Pontiac, Mich.; 19 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
