Annie E. Hughes Jones

Annie E. Hughes Jones, 91, of Holly Springs, died Feb. 4, 2018, at Alliance HealthCare System. The widow of Estell Jones Sr., she was a housewife.

Visitation will be Feb. 9 from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home, and Feb. 10 from 10-10:55 a.m. in the auditorium.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Feb. 10 at Rust College Doxey Auditorium with burial in Cottrell Memorial Garden. Rev. Joe Louis Tunstall will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves two daughters, Mozella Jones, Ella Oliver (Timothy), both of Holly Springs; a son, Lloyd Jones of Holly Springs; three sisters, Lillian Davis of Texas, Lucy Boyd, Susie B. Vaughn, both of Holly Springs; two brothers, Jasper Hughes of Holly Springs, Joe Nathan Hughes of Milwaukee, Wisc.; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons, Phillip Jones, Estell Jones Jr. and Maurice Jones.
