Anglyn Clayborn Howell

Anglyn Clayborn Howell, 65, of Holly Springs, died March 28, 2018, at her brother’s home in Horn Lake. The widow of Shelby Howell, she was retired center director at ICS Head Start. She was a member of the Usher Board, Stewardess president, recording secretary, missionary, and Quarter Conference secretary.

Visitation will be held from 2-6 p.m. on April 6 at the funeral home, and at the church on April 7 from 10-10:55 a.m.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on April 7 at Yarbrough Chapel CME Church, where she was a member. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Tony Wilkins will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves two sons, Anthony Clayborn of Olive Branch, Richardo Clayborn of Memphis, Tenn.; a stepson, Terry Howell of Indianapolis, Ind.; four stepdaughters, Shelby Howell, Sheena Howell-Lewis, Tanesha Howell-Gray of Indianapolis, Destinee Howell of Holly Springs; four sisters, Shirley McKinney of Holly Springs, Annette Jones of Chicago, Ill., Marilyn Wilson of Boyton Beach, Fla., Kathleen Adams of Harvey, Ill., two brothers, Kelvin Clayborn of Horn Lake, Levi Clayborn of Holly Springs; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by six siblings, Percy Clayborn, George Clayborn Jr., Kerby Clayborn, Harris Clayborn, Earnest Lee Dukes, and Carl Clayborn.
