Anglish Washington Selman Jr.

AnglishWashington Selman Jr., 68, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Holly Springs, died May 8, 2019, at Methodist Willowbrook Hospital in Houston. He was an elder in the Church of God in Christ, a graduate of Mississippi Industrial College, manager of area KFCs for over 20 years.

Visitation will be on May 17 from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home, and Christ Temple Church of God in Christ from 5-8 p.m., and on May 18 from 10-10:55 a.m. The service will be at 11 a.m. at the church. Dr. Albert Pass will officiate. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden.

He leaves his wife, Debi Selman; three daughters, Patrice Woods and April Selman, both of Memphis, Tenn., Nichole Cushenberry of Houston; one son, Antonious Selman of Holly Springs; one sister, Mary Selman of Rex, Ga.; four brothers, Isaiah Selman of Monticello, Jerome Selman of McComb, Rev. Joseph Selman of Holly Springs, Nathaniel Selman of Conyers, Ga.; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Samuel Selman.
