Amanda Coleman

Amanda Coleman, 45, of Memphis, Tenn., died Jan. 18, 2017, at her home. She was a member of New Zion CME Church in Moscow, Tenn.,  a graduate of Tougaloo College in Jackson, with a master’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi, a member of Delta Sigma Sorority Inc., a former church choir member and a member of CYF.  She was a former assembly line worker at Carrier Corp. in Collierville, Tenn.

Visitation will be Jan. 27, 2-8:30 p.m. and with family from 7:30-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home, and Jan. 28 from 10-11:25 a.m. at the church.

Services will be held at Hudsonville CME Church Life Center at 11:30 a.m. on Jan. 28. Burial will be in New Zion CME Church Cemetery in Moscow. Elder Bobby G. Wilson will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

She leaves a son, Alexander J. Coleman of Memphis; her father, Lonnie Coleman, her mother, Maggie P. Woodard Coleman, both of Memphis; a sister, Evergenia Ambrose of Holly Springs; and her grandmother, Louise Coleman of Holly Springs.
