Alvin Tyrone Walker

Alvin Tyrone Walker, 55, of Holly Springs, died Aug. 5, 2017, at his home. He was disabled.

Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. on Aug. 11 at the funeral home, and from 10-10:55 a.m. on Aug. 12 at the church.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Aug. 12 at Chulahoma MB Church, where he was a member. Burial will be in the church cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves six sisters, Betty Walker of Holly Springs, Mary Shead, Vera Rashid, Glory Lewis, all of Memphis, Tenn., Brenda Walker of Aurora, Ill., Minnie Walker of Houston, Texas; and four brothers, Rogers Walker, Charles Walker, both of Aurora, C.F. Walker of Millington, Tenn., Alfonza Walker of Memphis.

He was preceded in death by siblings, Minnie Pearl Sessom, Adolphus Walker and LeFant Walker.
