Alma Ruth Brittenum Smith

Alma Ruth Brittenum Smith, 67, of Holly Springs, died Nov. 14, 2020, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was a member of Strawberry MB Church in Holly Springs and a former secretary at Rust College.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Nov. 21 from 1-4 p.m. Services are incomplete at this time.

She leaves a daughter, Sharon Crane of Holly Springs; two sons, Albert Lenzie Smith II of Holly Springs, Andre LaShawn Smith of Memphis, Tenn.; 12 sisters, Shirley Martin of Keokuk, Iowa, Grace Jeffries, Maudie Freeman, Mollie Pegues, Linda Lester, Ora Jean Pegues, Wanda D. Pegues, all of Holly Springs, Mae Margaret Kimble, Gloria Mosley Woods, Annette McKinzy Garner, all of Memphis, Jacqueline M. Hughes, Stacey R. Dennis both of Red Banks; three brothers, Eric K. Brittenum Hardaway, Ronnie W. Dennis Brittenum, both of Holly Springs, Reginald L. Dennis Brittenum of Collierville, Tenn.; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Albert Lenzie Smith Sr.; one daughter, Tricia Nichols.
