Alline Miller
Funeral services for Alline Miller, 90, of Collierville, was held at 2 p.m. on Oct. 8 at Macon Church of Christ in Macon, Tenn., with burial in Hopewell Cemetery in Mississippi. She passed away Oct. 3, 2023, at her daughter's home. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Bolivar were in charge of arrangements.
She was born August 17, 1933, in Collierville, daughter of the late Mark S. and Mary Davis Humphrys Wilkinson, and lived in Fayette County for 44 years and for 2 months in Potts Camp, MS. She worked as a bookkeeper for several different factories. She married William Freeman Miller on Dec. 24, 1950, and he preceded her in death in 2009. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed reading her Bible, her church family and loved God the most. Mrs. Miller was a member of Macon Church of Christ.
Surviving are her daughters, Judy Gurley (Mitchell) of Potts Camp, MS, Pamela Jane White of Olive Branch, MS and Betty Wilson of Barton, MS; a son, Larry Miller (Mary) of Marion, AR; a sister, Sandra Fine of Yuma, AZ; 9 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter; 2 sisters and four brothers.
