Alicia Shonta Rooks, 33, of Holly Springs, died February 10, 2023. She was a member of St. Paul CME Church and was employed at Aerotek in Memphis, Tenn.
Services were held at St. Paul CME Church at 3 p.m. on Feb. 25. Burial was in Charity Hill Cemetery in Lake Center. Serenity Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves her mother, Hattie Lee Rooks of Holly Springs; father, Eddie Frank McNeil of Holly Springs; sister, Markeisha L. Rooks of Holly Springs; brother, Marco A. Rooks of Holly Springs; grandparents, Jeanette and Aaron Rayford of Aurora, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Isabella Rooks and Elbert Waller; great-grandparents, Virginia and J.C. McNeil and Willie and Clara Waller.
