Alfred Carter, 81, of Holly Springs, died January 21, 2023. He was a truck driver with Roadway and a U.S. Army veteran.
Visitation will be held at Cook Funeral Home Chapel in Crossville, Ill., on Jan. 27 from 10 a.m. until services at noon. Burial will be in Stokes Chapel Cemetery in Crossville. Holly Springs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his wife, Billie Carter; two sons, Jeff Carter (Robin), Brian Carter (Karen); three daughters, Delores Baker (Rhett), Debra Taylor, Lisa Harris; three sisters, Mary Handel, Glenda Mitchell (Tom), Barbara Cain (Jim); 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Edmund Carter and Herman Carter.
