Albert McKinney

Albert McKinney, 71, of Victoria, died Sept. 6, 2020, at Methodist Germantown Hospital in Germantown, Tenn. He was a member of New Traveler MB Church in Tate County but attended Mt. Newell MB Church and Newell Chapel CME Church. He was a former concrete finisher.

Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. on Sept. 12 at Roberts Chapel CME Church Cemetery in Tate County. Rev. Timothy Totten officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Clara Norman McKinney; two children, Brenda Shipp McKinney of Holly Springs, Bernard McKinney of Aurora, Ill.; three sisters, Lue Birtha Pryor, Olivia McKinney, Georgia Beatrice Pryor, all of Aurora; two brothers, Elbert McKinney of Byhalia, and Arthur Lee McKinney of Aurora.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Willie Mae Brownlee; and a brother, Gable McKinney Jr.
