Albert Lenzie Smith Sr.

Albert Lenzie Smith Sr., 69, of Holly Springs, died Nov. 12, 2020, at his home. He was a member of Strawberry MB Church and an agriculture instructor at Marshall County Correctional Center.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Nov. 21 from 1-4 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Nov. 22 at Yarbrough Chapel CME Church Cemetery in Holly Springs. Rev. Joe T. Lester will officiate.

He leaves a daughter, Sharon Crane of Holly Springs; two sons, Albert Lenzie Smith II of Holly Springs, Andre LaShawn Smith of Memphis, Tenn.; two sisters, Alice Thomas of Holly Springs, Pauline Sipp of Las Vegas, Nev.; a brother, Statie Lee Smith Jr. of Holly Springs; and seven grandchildren.

He was married to Alma Ruth Brittenum Smith for 51 years; she died on Nov. 14, 2020.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Tricia Nichols; two brothers, Willie Lee Smith and John W. Smith.
