Adell Phillips

Adell Phillips, 98, of Holly Springs, died July 2, 2020, at Holly Springs Health and Rehab. He was a member of Mt. Gillie Community Church, where he served as a church deacon, and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was retired from the U.S. Forest Service.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. on July 7 at Mt. Gillie Community Church Cemetery in Holly Springs. Minister Theresia Phillips officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves two children, Beverly Phillips and Benjamin Phillips, both of Waterford.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Reynard Phillips, McCoy Phillips, Inez Ellington, Lucille Jackson, Louise Phillips and Adriana Phillips.
