Ada Mae Smith Hudson

Ada Mae Smith Hudson, 83, of Moscow, Tenn., formerly of Michigan City, died August 22, 2024, at Quince Nursing and Rehab Center in Memphis, Tenn. She was a member of Williams Temple COGIC, a former member of New Bethel MB Church where she servd on the usher board. She was a homemaker.

Services were held at 2 p.m. on August 30 at Williams Temple Chuch of God in Christ. Elder Robert Williams officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her daughters, Ada Humphrey of Olive Branch, Shirley Goodwin of Moscow, Deloris Bailey of Memphis; sons, Larry Fields of Moscow, Rickey Hudson of Jackson, Tenn., James Lewis Hudson of Memphis, Hosie B. Hudson Jr. of Omaha, Neb.; 21 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and three great-greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hosie B. Hudson; son, James E. Hudson; siblings, Rice Smith, Larry Smith, Willie Smith, Zack Smith, Robert Smith and Lena Boston.
