A.D. Pryor
A.D. Pryor, 70, of Michigan City, formerly of Laws Hill, died November 6, 2025. He was a member of New Hope MB Church and a machine operator at Carrier Inc.
Services were held at New Hope MB Church at 11 a.m. On Nov. 15. Servant Marvin Lucas officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his wife, Patricia A. Hampton Pryor; mother, Cleopatria McEwen Pryor of Laws Hill; daughters, Latonya Gardner of Laws Hill, Ashley Pryor of Holly Springs, Tawanda Pryor of Midwest City, Okla.; sons, Everette Gardner of Waterford, Arthur Pryor of Midwest City, Mishad Wright of Ingrams Mill, Searn Lynch of Oxford; stepdaughter, Nicole Miller of Oxford; stepson, Marlo Washington of Memphis, Tenn.; sisters, Bobby Campbell of Batavia, Ill., Betty Guy of Fort Wayne, Ind., Freedonia Jones, Mary Shaw, Mary Young, all of Holly Springs; brothers, RC Pryor, ST Pryor, both of Aurora, Ill., Ivory Lee Pryor of Holly Springs, Willie Boyd Pryor of Fort Wayne; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and three great-greatgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, JR Pryor Sr.; brother, JR Pryor Jr.; and stepson, Anthony Washington.
