
Charles Lee Smith Sr.
Charles Lee Smith, Sr. age 65, died Aug. 6 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
A resident of Abbeville, he was the resident Chef at Little John's in Oxford and a member of Flint Hills Baptist Church in Etta.
Memorial services were Aug. 14, 12 noon, at the Serenity Funeral Chapel in New Albany. Family and friends were received Aug. 14 at 11 a.m. until service time. Serenity Funeral Home of New Albany was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his wife Cynthia Smith of Abbeville; two sons, Charles Lee Smith, Jr., and Christopher Royce Smith; daughter Shyleigha Smith; bonus "Mother" Mrs. Mattie Holland; three brothers, Albert Smith (Ella), Flaze Peoples, Ronnie Driver (Kim); five sisters, Geraldine Kilgore (Lifous), Tennille Smith, Teresa Brooks, Sandra Murray (Anthony), and Judy Gipson; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Brown and Inell L. Driver; two brothers, Frank James Smith and William Charles Smith; and three sisters, Brenda Smith, Mary Rahman and Linda Smith.
