Nathan Cedell "Slick" Waldrop

Nathan Cedell "Slick" Waldrop, 77, of Holly Springs, died on July 24, 2026. He worked as a factory worker at Howard Co. in St. Charles, Ill. He was a member and deacon of New Life Christian Center in Ashland.

Services will be Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026 at the New Life Christian Center in Ashland, starting at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be at the New Life Christian Center Cemetery.

He leaves his wife, Lizzie Waldrop of Holly Springs; three sons: Jimmie Lee Wiseman of Holly Springs, James Earl Wiseman of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Ricky Wiseman of Memphis, Tenn.; five daughters: Rachel Waldrop of Aurora, Ill., DelRay Taylor (Oscar) of Los Angeles, Calif., Carolyn Wiseman Richard of Holly Springs, and Shakeena Waldrop Stinson of Memphis, Tenn.; one brother, Joe Waldrop (Lynette) of New Albany; one sister, Canaria Waldrop-Jordan (Edgar) of Racine, Wis.; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
