County Farm Bureau to meet next month

County agricultural leaders and producers meet next month as the Marshall County Farm Bureau Federation hosts its 2026 annual meeting.

The event is set for Thursday, Aug. 6, at 6:30 p.m. At 940 Outdoors & Co. in Holly Springs.

The annual gathering serves as a platform for area producers to connect, review agricultural policy updates, and recognize the essential contributions of farming families to the local economy and rural communities.

“This meeting is an excellent opportunity for our members to stay informed about the issues affecting agriculture while enjoying fellowship with fellow Farm Bureau members,” said Charles Hall, President of the Marshall County Farm Bureau Federation. “We encourage all of our members to join us for this special evening.”

The evening will feature a slate of prominent guest speakers who are tracking legislative and industry developments at both the state and federal levels. Scheduled to speak are:

• Mike McCormick, President of the Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation

• Justin Ferguson, National Affairs Coordinator for the Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation

• Neil Whaley, Mississippi State Senator

The event will also have a complimentary catered dinner and door prizes.
