Area students among Ole Miss graduates
The University of Mississippi conferred degrees upon more than 3,800 students during its 173rd Commencement exercises in May, marking a milestone for a diverse cohort of scholars now poised to enter the professional world.
The multi-day celebration concluded with a university-wide Convocation in the Grove, featuring a keynote address by country music artist and former Ole Miss baseball pitcher Brett Young. Chancellor Glenn Boyce praised the class, noting that their global impact is already taking shape.
