Jaden Dewayne "Jay" Evans

Jaden Dewayne "Jay" Evans, 24, of Michigan City, died June 4, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Centerin Tupelo. He was a member ofSt. Luke Church of God in Christ in Ashland where he was a member of the Praise n Motion Praise Dance Team and the youth choir. He was employed atHawthorn Senior Living in Collierville, Tenn.

Services were held at Hebron Chapel MBChurch at 2 p.m. on June 13. Burial was in St. Luke COGIC Cemetery. Serenity Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his mother, Shawanda Hunt Caldwell; father, Fredrick Evans; sisters, Amia Caldwell, Kaylan Evans; and grandfather, Jimmy Dale Hunt.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Nellie Williams Hunt, Classie Evans; grandfather, Otha B. Evans; and brother, Kenden Caldwell.
