Gloria Jean Crockett Jones

Gloria Jean Crockett Jones, 72, of Holly Springs, died June 9, 2026, at Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital. She was a member of Chulahoma MB Church where she served as a deaconess and was a choir member. She was a lab technician at Hawkins Medical Clinic.

Services were held at Chulahoma MB Church on June 14at 2 p.m. Pastor Lonnie Whitfield officiated. Burial was in Street Hill Cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her husband, Warrick Darnell Jones; daughters, LaTonya Iwuamanam (Andrew) of Acworth, Ga., Temecha Jones-Shaw (Calvin) of Memphis, Tenn.; son, Karvis Jones (Carrisa) of Fairburn, Ga.; sister, Helen Anderson of Memphis; brothers, Larry Crockett of Indianapolis, Ind., Thomas Crockett, Rickey Crockett, both of Byhalia; and one grandson.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Martha Ruth Marr, Hollie Mae Crockett, James Crockett, Bessie Lee Crockett, and S.P. Crockett Jr.
