Armenia Faulkner Alexander

Armenia Faulkner Alexander, 87, of Chicago, Ill., formerly of Holly Springs and East St. Louis, Ill., died June 1, 2026, at her home.

Visitation will be held at Smith Grove MBChurch on June 13 from 10-10:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Pastor Michael Gordon will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her children, Marilyn Faulkner Fisher, Denver Faulkner (Denise), Anniece Browder (Vincent), Sharon Profit (Gene), Willie Alexander, Tavares Alexander; sister, Doris Reynolds of East St. Louis; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, andtwo great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Alexander; sisters, Ora Falkner, Laura Mae Horne, Lula Mae Reynolds, Mary Ellen Tuggles; brothers, Odell Falkner, L.C. Falkner, Harmon Falkner, Frank Falkner, Felix Falkner, Rev. Lee Ester Falkner, Percy Falkner, Fred Falkner Sr.; and son-in-law, Ellis "Glenn" Fisher.
