Wendell Thomas Sr., 84, of Red Banks, died May 30, 2026, at Trinity Healthcare Center in Columbus. He was a member of Red Banks Baptist Church, served in theArmy National Guardand worked at Synergy Gas Company.
Graveside services will be held at Red Banks Cemetery on June5 at 11 a.m. Holly Springs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He leaves a daughter, Kim Thomas Woodruff (Jimmy) of Columbus; son, Wendell Thomas Jr.; sisters, Eunice Joy Barksdale, Judy Ray Howell; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his former wife, Shirley Anderson Bell; brothers, Bobby Thomas, Roland Thomas; sisters, Johnnie Mae Bellinger and Carnese Dancy.
