Louise Ruff Tatum

Louise Ruff Tatum, 89, of Holly Springs, formerly of Hayti, Mo., died May 9, 2026, at Shepherd Hospice House in Southaven. She was a member of Cedar Street MB Church in Hayti and a homemaker.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on May 21 from 5-7 p.m. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on May 23 at Cedar Street MB Church. Rev. Thomas Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Hayti.

She leaves her daughters, Millicent Wilson (Rev. Thomas) of Holly Springs, Sharron Douglas of Kennett, Mo.; sons, Lonnie Ruff (Terra), Julius Douglas, Bennie Douglas, all of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Terry Tatum; sons, Bernard Doulgas and Gerard Tatum.
