Freddie B. Johnson, 77, of Ashland, formerly of California, died May 8, 2026, at Holly Springs Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. He formerly attended Greenwood MB Church in Lamar and was a retired truck driver.
Services will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on May 17 from 2-3 p.m. with Minister Frank Thompson.
He leaves five children; his sisters, Casynette Hoyle of Ashland, Deborah Craine of Holly Springs; brothers, Ellis Johnson, Larry Johnson, Dwight Johnson, all of Lamar, Trence Johnson of Ashland and Sylvester Johnson of Chulahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Jr. and Ruby Bean Johnson; brothers, Frank H. Johnson and Ricky N. Johnson.
