Wayborn Edwin Johnson

Wayborn Edwin Johnson, 67, of Holly Springs, formerly of Santa Ana, Calif., died April 22, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital Union County in New Albany. He was a former member of Pleasant Grove MB Church, member of Masonic Lodge and director of Phlebotomy at Quest Diagnostics in Santa Ana.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel of J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on May 9 at 3 p.m.

He leaves his children, Pamela Johnson Moore, Tomeka Johnson, both of Holly Springs, Taylor Johnson of Monroe, NC; sisters, Wanda T. Kizer of Holly Springs, Marilyn K. Jones of Mt. Laurel, NJ, Caroline McFadden of Atlanta, Ga.; brother, David Anderson of Etta; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Jr. and Annie Jeanette Johnson; and son, Travis Johnson.
