Cicely LiAnn "Tuta" Evans

Cicely LiAnn "Tuta" Evans, 45, of Lamar, died April 6, 2026, at Methodist Hospital in Olive Branch. She was a member of St. James COGIC where she served as Sunday School treasury duration checker. She worked at Evans Eat and Play in Walnut.

Services were held at St. James COGIC on April 11 at 11 a.m. Burial was in Saint Rest Cemetery in Ripley. Serenity Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her husband, Orlando Evans; daughter, Hope LiAnn Evans; mother, Gladys Carroll of Ripley; siblings, Sylvia Pate (Clyde) of Blue Mountain, Gladys Michell Weathersby of Milwaukee, Wisc., Wiley Zachary Carroll, Kevin Carroll, Keith Carroll, and Doug Carroll, all of Ripley.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wiley Carroll; and brother, Eddie Carroll.
