Spring has sprung in our fair little town. All the trees are blooming with gorgeous colors. With Spring comes the Holly Springs Garden Club’s annual pilgrimage. Select homes will be open for touring April 17 through April 19. Saturday, April 18, the ladies are bringing back the beloved Queen’s Ball, which showcases the pilgrimage court. There will be dancing and food and lots of fun times to be had, so make plans to attend! The garden club has a lot of other great functions going on throughout the weekend, too. This year’s court includes Marshall Academy senior girls Charlie Ann Johnson and Maggie Lynn Teel. Their escorts are Brennan Adams Smith and David Augustus Smith. If you know these four young people, you know they will do our town proud in welcoming visitors from all over the country.
Marshall Academy hosts a Sneaker Ball yearly for grades 4 - 6. This year, the café was the backdrop as the youngsters danced the night away! It is always a fun time for the littles to get dressed up while also being comfortable in their new kicks.
Dunn Boatwright, Grace Bonds, Wynne and Paxton Clark and Macy Woods spent their spring break at the most magical place on earth, Disney World. The group packed in every park Disney had to offer, as well as every ride they possibly could. The week was filled with adventure, fun and family togetherness.
