
Lula B. Riddick
Lula B. Riddick, 78, of Aurora, Ill., formerly of Holly Springs, died February 26, 2026. She was a member of Mt. Peel Missionary Baptist Church and later a member of Gayles Memorial Baptist Church. She retired from Caterpillar.
Services were held at Mt. Peel MB Church on March 14 at 11 a.m. Burial was in the church cemetery. Serenity Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves her son, Calvine L. Dean of Maryville, Tenn.; sisters, Dianne Kendall (Craig) of Aurora, Jennie Howell of Chicago, Ill., Jerlene Pryor of Holly Springs, Annie James of Waterford; brothers, Melvin Turner-James (Quennie) of Milwaukee, Ill., Oscar Lee James (Valine) of Holly Springs, Eddie Hue James of Memphis, Tenn., Robert James (Tina), Anthony James, both of Aurora; 10 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert "Base" Dean; sister, Mae Lois Stewart; and brother, Isaac James Jr.
