Patricia Ann Hennington

Patricia Ann Hennington, 74, of Charlotte, NC, formerly of Yazoo City and Holly Springs, died February 24, 2026, at Atrium Health-Pineville, Charlotte. She was a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. where she served as state director for the South Central Region, former professor at Rust College and a college professor at Strayer University.
Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on March 6, from 6-7:30 p.m. and at Elam Chapel on the campus of Rust College on March 7 from 11-11:55 a.m. with services at 12 noon.
She leaves her caregivers, Eurika Rogers, LaShonta Harrington, both of Charlotte.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Willis and Vera Hammond Hennington.
