Billy Hue Sharp, 90, of Byhalia, died February 25, 2026, at Methodist Hospital in Olive Branch. He was a member of Eason Grove MB Church and a maintenance engineer at GEM Inc.
Services were held at St. Luke Church of God in Christ on Feb. 28 at 10:30 a.m. Burial was in Memorial Park South Woods. Serenity Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his wife, Charlean Sharp; children, Felicia Sharp of Olive Branch, Elvelyn Sumter (Carver) of Southaven, Carolyn Sharp-Neal of Ozark, Ala., Joan Sharp of Horn Lake, Sharon Cook (Mack) of Southaven, Billy H. Sharp Jr., Randy Sharp (Diane), both of Memphis, Tenn.; step-daughters, Jacquator Norman-Ferguson of Southaven, Katanya Malone of Byhalia; sister, Gladys Reed; brother, Leroy Neely (Florine); 23 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Sharp; sister, Carrie Dean; brothers, Ray William Hardaway, Denver Lee Neely, Hubbard Hardaway; and a grandson, Christopher Sharp.
