A big congratulations to Phillip Knecht and Sarah Taylor for reviving the Mock Trial teams at Marshall Academy. The two teams, comprised of extremely bright students, took the Mock Trial competition in Tupelo by storm. They argued their cases beautifully, with both teams advancing to the state rounds in Jackson. The competition spanned over two days with numerous rounds, each one harder than the last. Neither team brought home the Gavel, but both left their mark in the legal world in the state of Mississippi.

940 Outdoors was the backdrop for Marshall Academy’s Daddy Daughter dance Saturday night. Little girls in elementary school dressed to the nines, each with flowers on their wrists or bouquets. Their daddies or guardians decked out from head to toe with matching boutonnières. Rocking Randy was the magic behind the music as everyone danced the night away. This has become an event the littles look forward to year after year. It is certainly a sweet tradition making memories that will last a lifetime.
