Saturday, 940 Outdoor and Company had the Turkey Man himself, Eddie Salter, in the house. Salter traveled from his home in Alabama to meet and greet turkey hunting enthusiasts from our area. Brandi Byrd, owner of 940, knows her customer base. Everyone enjoyed speaking to the Turkey Man while also perusing, as well as purchasing, his amazing line of turkey calls. The season is upon us so for all of your hunting needs, be sure to pop out and visit Brandi.

Nancy Hagins spent the weekend in Lindale, Texas. She stayed with her son and daughter-in-law, Jake and Brittany Jones. The highlight of the trip was getting to spend quality time with her grandbaby, Harlow. It was a fabulous trip but, as always, not long enough.

Susie and Harold Murphy, Candace Corder, Meredith and Neil Murphy and children, Laken and Fischer, took on Walt Disney World last week in Orlando, Fla. They all enjoyed the rides offered throughout the park with the different themes. Laken was even transformed into a Disney Princess at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.
