Kenneth Earl Mims

Kenneth Earl Mims, 67, of Byhalia, died January 1, 2026, at his home. He attended Mt. Sinai MB Church and was a line worker at Independent Steel in Olive Branch.
Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Jan. 9 from 1-5 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Jan. 10 at Mt. Sinai MB Church Cemetery in Byhalia.
He leaves his sons, Victor Harris of Holly Springs, Torrance Newson of Coldwater, Larocke Ingram of Byhalia; sister, Josie Mims Pleasant of Chicago, Ill.; a friend and caregiver, Celestine Guy Harden; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Marvin Mims, Gregory "Bo" Mims, Shelia Mims-Isom and Annie Pearl Dotson.
