Sophia Yvette Muse

Sophia Yvette Muse, 34, of Batesville, formerly of Holly Springs, died December 25, 2025, at Greenwood. She was a member of Strawberry MB Church and a cook at KFC.

Services will be held at Strawberry MB Church on January 10, 2026, at 11 a.m. Rev. Deldrick Leasure will officiate. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves a daughter, HaLei Muse from Detroit, Mich.; mother, Carla Muse of Holly Springs; father, Christopher Muse of Holly Springs; grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. Roosevelt Gage of Holly Springs; grandfather, Arthur Kimmons of Holly Springs; sisters, Jennifer B. Muse of Water Valley, Angela Muse of Memphis, Tenn., Francheska Boyd of Holly Springs; brothers, Danarious Muse of Holly Springs and Jency Hartley of Atlanta, Ga.

She was preceded in death by a son, Hayden Muse.
