Patsy "Pat" Jo Smitherman, 80, of Olive Branch, died December 28, 2025. She was a member of Hope Chapel and worked at Finn Clinic.
A memorial service was held at Hope Chapel on Jan. 3, 2026, at 12 p.m. with graveside services following at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves her children, Angela Roberson (Jeff), Billy Smitherman (Tiffany), Patrick Smitherman (Rachel); siblings, Faye Mays, Larry Young; 12 grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Smitherman; son, Billy Gene Smitherman Jr.; siblings, Blanche Tackett, Melvie Myrick, JW "Nubbie", Ollie and Gene Vaughn, Barbara Kidd and Jerry Young.
