Friday, December 12, Sumner Douglas Martin made his grand appearance a smidgen early. He weighed 9 pounds, 11 ounces and was 21 inches. Proud parents are Kelsey and Brody Martin. What a Christmas gift for such a deserving couple. Congratulations.
One last field trip was squeezed in before the break for Marshall Academy second through sixth grades. They went to the Tupelo Ballet where they enjoyed the production of The Nutcracker, a Christmas staple.
