Mary Carolyn Pipkin Schmidt, 87, formerly of Olive Branch, died December 4, 2025, in Nesbit. She was a member of Fountain of Truth Church. She retired from General Electric Lamp Plant.
Services were held at 1 p.m. on Dec.13 at Holly Springs Funeral Home. Burial was in Blue Mountain Cemetery.
She leaves her sons, Keith Cooper (Elizabeth) of Decaturville, Tenn., Phillip Cooper of Nesbit; brother, Jimmy Allen Pipkin (Virginia) of Corinth; eight grandchildren and 21 greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Thomas Schmidt; sisters, Marilyn Pulse, Volene Taylor, Shelia Bingham; a daughter, Teresa Renee Burkett and grandson, Jeremy Keith Cooper.
