Maurice Tyrone “Bay Bruh” Malone, 61, of Holly Springs, died November 21, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. He was a former member of Mt. Newell MB Church and retired from Sunbeam Inc.
Services were held at 10 a.m. On Nov. 29 at Mt. Newell MB Church. Rev. Michael Johnson officiated. Burial was in Mt. Newell Memorial Garden. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his father, Robert Earl Malone of Memphis; sons, Zachery Horton of Oxford, Andrew “Smurf” Campbell of Holly Springs; sister, Arnettia Malone of Byhalia; brothers, Calvin Malone, and Carlos “Joe” Ford, both of Holly Springs.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ella B. Watson Malone; and brother, Renny Earl Malone.
