Jerldean Scott Stewart

Jerldean Scott Stewart, 82, of Oxford, formerly of Potts Camp, died November 22, 2025, at her home. She was a member of New Harvest Ministries where she sang in the choir. She was a retired certified nurse assistant.

Services were held at 2 p.m. On Nov. 29 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries. Bro. Mike Richmond officiated. Burial was in Baptist Hill Church Cemetery in Potts Camp. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her daughters, Jennifer Scott of Naperville, Ill., Sharon Stewart of Oxford; son, Ricky Scott (Katherine) of Montgomery, Ill.; sister, Murlee Washington of Memphis, Tenn.; brother, Charles Ray Scott (Willie Bell) of Oxford; 21 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Stewart; daughter, Annette Scott; and sister, Marie Palmer.
