Roderick A. Bell

Roderick A. Bell, 58, of Holly Springs, formerly of Miami, Fla., died October 28, 2025, at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital. He was a member of New Life of Memphis Full Gospel Church where he served in the church men's fraternity and was a minister in training. He was a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. , a student advisor at Miami Dade College and restaurant manager.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 8 at New Life of Memphis Full Gospel Church. Burial was in Street Hill Cemetery on Nov. 10 at 11 a.m. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves a daughter, Neely Woodruff of Miami; mother, Susie Jones Bell of Holly Springs; father, Walter Bell of Holly Springs; sisters, Nichelle Bell King of Holly Springs, Kimberly Bell Burke of Memphis, Tenn.; brothers, Kevin Rayford of Montgomery, Ill., and Java Brown of Southaven.
