Shelia Kay Cowans-Nabors

Shelia Kay Cowans-Nabors, 75, of Holly Springs, died November 7, 2025, at her home in the Red Banks community. She was a member of Jones Grove MB Church where she served as church announcer. She was a CNA at Cook Home Health.

There will be no services. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her husband, James Earl Nabors; son, Jermaine Brown of Holly Springs; daughters, Janae Nabors of Memphis, Tenn., Amanda Nabors, Sharon Nabors, both of Holly Springs; sisters, Virginia Freeman of Memphis; Louvenia Martin of Freeport, New York, Donna Marion, Dornetta Howell-Woods, both of Holly Springs; brothers, Desmond Howell, Allen Martin Jr., both of Holly Springs; five grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Nabors; siblings, Josephine Barksdale and Isaac Martin.
