Jimmy Lee Evans

Jimmy Lee Evans, 76, of Potts Camp, died September 23, 2025. He was a Baptist and worked for Coca Cola.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Sept. 26 at Salem Baptist Church in Potts Camp. Burial was in the church cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves a son, Keith Joyner (Heather) of Potts Camp; daughter, Cheryl Smith of Hickory Flat; brothers, Johnny Evans of Olive Branch, Danny Evans of Waterford, Terry Evans of Potts Camp; sisters, Debbie Stanton of Holly Springs, Sandra Bancroft of Southaven, Jeannie Ash of Olive Branch; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Marie Osteen Evants; brothers, Larry Evans, Henry Evans, Charles Evans, Bobby Jo Lewis; sisters, Kathy Matthews, Diana Allen, Ann Horwitz; and a grandchild, Tiffany Smith.
