Jerry Johnson

Jerry Johnson, 77, died September 25, 2025, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and worked for Iron Crafters for 25 years.

Services were held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Ashland on Sept. 29 with burial in Little Hope Cemetery in Ashland. Bro. Herb Luther and Bro. John Huggins officiated. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife of 59 years, Brenda Mae Murley Johnson; children, Steven Johnson (Regina), Janet Jackson (Mike Ray), Joy Rowland (Rodney), all of Falkner, Jill Owen (Channing) of Ripley; brother, Kenneth Johnson (Donna) of Killen, Ala.; sister, Linda Barone of Munford, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Junior Johnson, John Johnson, Gene Johnson, Roy Johnson, Charles Johnson; sisters, Hazel Hensley and Sallie Emagene Johnson.
