Rev. Ray Marcus Patterson

Rev. Ray Marcus Patterson, 65, of Olive Branch, formerly of Lamar, died September 10, 2025, at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital. He was a member at Foundation of Life Christian Learning Center and pastor of Pleasant Hill MB Church in Saulsberry, Tenn.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Sept. 19 from 3-6 p.m. and on Sept. 20 at Foundation of Life Christian Learning Center from 10-10:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Eulogist will be his son, Marcus Patterson. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He leaves his wife, Teresa Griffin Patterson; father, Rev. James T. Patterson; daughters, Denisha Moss (Jasper), Shunterica Williams, both of Olive Branch; sons, Marcus Patterson (Veronica) of Houston, Texas, DeLeon Patterson (Natalie) of Atlanta, Ga., Link Fisher of Memphis, Tenn., Terenton Williams of Olive Branch; sisters, Mary Patterson of Memphis, Michelle Cochran (Stanley) of Chattanooga, Tenn., Brenda Williams (Eddie) of Huntsville, Ala., Tamika Jackson (Reggie) of Arlington, Tenn.; brothers, Willie Patterson (Barbara) of Piperton, Tenn., Floyd Patterson (Carolyn) of Memphis, Bradley Patterson (Sureather) of Lamar, Samiour Patterson (Christine) of Frisco, Texas, Joseph Patterson (Demetria) of Huntsville; 15 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Louise Patterson; sisters, Linda Patterson and Betty Patterson.
