Brenda Ann Brooks Lawshea

Brenda Ann Brooks Lawshea, 54, of Holly Springs, died August 11, 2025, at Regional One Health in Memphis, Tenn. She was a member of New Fellowship Christian Church in Olive Branch and a supervisor at Circle K.

Services were held at 3 p.m. on August 16 at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Danny Kimbrough officiated. Burial was in Beverly Chapel CME Church Cemetery in Holly Springs.

She leaves her husband, Michael Lawshea; daughter, Sherrell Lawshea of Holly Springs; son, Terrell Lawshea of Holly Springs; mother, Gladys Brooks Parker of Holly Springs; sisters, Sandra Harris (Dennis) of Cordova, Tenn., Angela Brooks of Holly Springs; brothers, Donald Brooks (Flora Mae) of Atlanta, Ga., Mario Isom, Durwin Collins (Tanikka), both of Memphis; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jessie James Isom.
