Mildred Richmond Washington

Mildred Richmond Washington, 77, of Holly Springs, died August 11, 2025, at Select Speciality Care Unit at Methodist University Hospital. She was a member of New Life Christian Center in Ashland and a former member of Pleasant Grove MB Church. She worked at The Nest Daycare Center.

Services were held at 2 p.m. on August 17 at Pleasant Grove MB Church in Red Banks. Rev. Ronnie Franklin officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her daughters, Sherrye Washington, Antonia Washington, Cassandra Washington, all of Holly Springs; son, Larry Washington of Holly Springs; brother, Robert Richmond of Holly Springs; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Dallas Washington; siblings, Amos Richmond Jr., Travis Richmond and Felix Richmond.
