Katherine Virginia Kemp, 52, of Jacksonville, Fla., died July 7, 2025, in Fla. She a 1991 graduate of Marshall Academy, received her masters in English from Millsaps College and Juris Doctorate from the Mississippi College School of Law.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
She leaves her sons, Gerald B. Parker of Lake Cormorant, Jonathan Chance Ellsworth of Fla.; and brother, William B. Kemp of La.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Gerald Kemp and Martha Virginia "Ginger" Still Kemp; a son, Caden Luke Kemp; paternal grandparents, Rev. William V. Kemp, Geraldine F. Kemp, maternal grandparents, Malvern B. Still and Mary Shaddick Still.
