Joe T. Sharp Jr.

Joe T. Sharp Jr., 71, of New Albany, died July 19, 2025, at New Albany Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was a member of Mt. Ollie MB Church in Potts Camp.

Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on July 25 from 4-6 p.m. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on July 26 at Mt. Ollie MB Church with burial in the church cemetery.

He leaves his mother, Ruby Sharp Cannon of Hickory Flat; sons, Joey Tyron Sharp of Cordova, Tenn., Franklin Oneal Sharp, Marcus Riddle, both of Memphis, Tenn.; brothers, Tommie Lee Sharp of Hickory Flat, Ricky Sharp (Wanda) of Canton; sisters, Bobbie S. Boggs of New Albany, Mattie Taylor (Adrian) of Tinton Falls, NJ, Lue Sharp of Louisville, Kent., Diane Curry (Eddie) of Memphis, Anessa Sharp of Jackson, Regenna Williams of Collierville, Tenn.; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe T. Sharp Sr.; brothers, James Booker and Steven L. Sharp.
