Steptoria Mitchell Finner

Steptoria Mitchell Finner, 86, of Waterford, formerly of Holly Springs, died June 22, 2025, at her home. She was a member of Mt. Peel MB Church where she served on the mother board and was a member of the Home Improvement Society. She was a retired greeter at Wal-Mart.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on July 3 from 12-5:30 p.m. and on July 5 at Mt. Peel MB Church from 1010:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Rev. Rondias Cox will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Peel Church Cemetery.

She leaves her daughters, Carolyn Beale of Fayetteville, Ga., Shanette Folsom of Waterford; sons, Alvin Finner of Waterford, Creed D. Finner of Chicago, Ill., Don ONeal Williams of Stockbridge, Ga.; sisters, Vera Jeffries of Memphis, Tenn., Minister Susie Grant, Jeweline Thompson, Franceine Dean, Mary Benard, all of Aurora, Ill.; brothers, Willis Mitchell Jr., Johnnie Mitchell, Morris Mitchell, Minister Henry Mitchell; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Creed Finner; children, Donald Ray Jeffries, Vernon Finner, Darren Finner; siblings, Maynard Pryor, James Mitchell, Lula Frances Jeffries, Eddie Mitchell and Brenda Mitchell.
